Carol Brightbill is the creative heart behind Brightbill Books . . .

... where she crafts playful puzzles, mindful journals, and curious quests for kids and adults alike. A retired educator and lifelong explorer, Carol blends her love of storytelling, nature, and everyday wonder into books that spark imagination and inspire reflection.

Whether she’s designing alphabet-themed word searches or dreaming up scavenger hunts that send kids on backyard adventures, Carol believes in the power of simple joys to awaken creativity. Her work often weaves together the natural world, thoughtful design, and just the right touch of whimsy.

When she’s not writing, you’ll likely find her hiking Pennsylvania trails, riding her bike, or capturing the quiet beauty of barns, trees, and wildlife through her camera lens.

Stay curious. Keep wondering. And above all—have fun with it.
